Orbin™ offers innovative waste management products and solutions designed to handle organic waste ranging from 2 kg to 20 tons per day. These solutions help convert various types of organic waste into carbon-rich compost, contributing to carbon sequestration efforts. Since 2017, One Hop Organics Pvt. Ltd. (OHOPL) has installed systems with a combined treatment capacity of 8,000 metric tons per annum, resulting in the production of approximately 1,600 tons of compost annually.
Orbin ECO-OWC solutions have been implemented for the following use cases:
- Apartment Communities- Orbin™ ECO-OWCs enable apartment communities to efficiently manage kitchen waste within
their premises without relying on electricity. The entire composting process is designed to be odor-free and
rodent-free, ensuring convenience for
residents. - Industrial Canteens – Canteen waste, which often includes plate leftovers, vegetable scraps, and excess food, is
effectively treated using Orbin™ ECO-OWCs. This ensures the sustainable disposal of organic waste generated in
industrial settings. - Food Processing companies – Food processing companies generate significant quantities of vegetable and fruit
waste during their production operations. Orbin™ solutions provide large-scale treatment of this waste,
converting it into nutrient-rich compost that supports sustainable
agricultural practices - Landscape Waste – Large-scale facilities such as airports, national highways, and institutions with extensive
land holdings face challenges in managing landscape waste. Orbin™ modular composting silos efficiently process
shredded landscape waste, diverting it from landfills. A comprehensive pilot project at Bangalore International
Airport Limited (BIAL) demonstrated
the efficacy of Orbin™ by converting shredded landscape waste into high-quality compost.
